The HI766C1 is an ultra-fast penetration K-type thermocouple probe with a handle designed for use with a thermocouple thermometer. A green cable extends 1m (3.3’) from the handle to the thermocouple connector with the meter. The finely pointed, 1.6 mm diameter tip of the probe allows users to obtain highly accurate temperature readings of semi-solids and food samples.

The Ultra-Fast Penetration K-Type Thermocouple Probe with Handle – HI766C1 is designed to measure the temperature of semi-solids and food samples. The response time of a measurement is affected by the position of the sensor relative to the surface being measured. The HI766C1 finely pointed tip construction offers a speedy 4-second response for a temperature reading. With a strong, corrosion-resistant, stainless steel construction, this probe is able to measure surfaces up to 300℃ (570℉).
